1. Device Hardware & Permissions (Mobile App Only)

To provide essential workforce and facility management features, the NexOps mobile app requires access to specific device hardware:

NFC (Near Field Communication): We utilize your device’s NFC capabilities to scan RFID-enabled tags on assets and meter panels, ensuring accurate and secure data entry for facility operations.

Camera & Image Data (Attendance & Scanning): We require camera access for two primary functions. First, to capture a live facial image of employees during punch-in and punch-out to verify identity and presence. Second, to scan QR codes for identifying assets, work permits, and meter panels. Image data used for attendance verification is securely transmitted, strictly used for authentication, and never shared publicly.

Location Data (Geofencing): We collect and process precise location data (GPS) when you use the attendance features. This ensures that employees are physically present within the designated facility, tech park, or authorized workplace boundaries when marking attendance (punch-in/punch-out). You can manage location permissions in your device settings, but disabling them may prevent the use of the attendance module.

2. Purpose of Data Usage

We collect and process this data solely to: 

• Facilitate accurate employee attendance and shift tracking based on location verification. 

• Streamline the submission of data with respect to tasks related to facility maintenance and is secured to be accessed only by authorized personnel. 

• Improve operational workflow efficiency and audit compliance.
